Target Audience

Ages 17-24 - Our main audience is young voters because they are part of a generation of change. We believe they deserve to know that a system once created to help voices to be heard, is now being used to silence them.

why3.png

To inspire young voters to use their voice to take action. Especially during an election year, voters need to be energized about how to make change.

Educating our target audience about an old topic in a new way by giving them access to the information they need both online and on college campuses.

Logo

Primary Logo

Our final logo displays the words “Electoral Knowledge” using all capital letters to emphasize the importance of this topic. We added a checkmark symbol that weaves its way through the “O” in “Electoral” to mirror the act of casting your vote on an election ballot.

The secondary logo using white text may only be used over darker colors.

Visual Identity

Color Palette

We designed a color palette that put a modern twist on the classic American red, white, and blue. By selecting a darker shade of blue and adding a light pink shade, our palette is more appealing to the younger generation.

Characters

We designed three characters that are used throughout our campaign to represent the young and diverse community in our target audience.

Pattern

Walking around college campuses ourselves, we were inspired by the way students slap vinyl stickers all over their laptop cases. We then created this overlapping logo pattern to emphasize the relevance and urgency of the subject matter.

College Campuses

Electoral Knowledge has a huge presence on college campuses around the country. We have student ambassadors around the country that run informations booths and host events to educate students and their local community on the issues with the Electoral College today.
